Any idea on case size? I would consider this an upgrade over the current generation of the Railmaster.

Title says 38mm and, except for the bezel, it looks like the same case (and bracelet) as the black lacquer Aqua Terra

And the source of this announcement? Also, 4/15 was three weeks ago.

In any event, it’s nice to see the minute hand is lumed. If my Aquaterra had these hands, I would have kept it.

Hm, I'm a bit torn. Not sure I want those new auto colors on watches, basically muted pastels. But this does look clean, and the grey really makes those hands pop out, which are nice.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the source for your pic and info? I've tried searching the Omega website and there's no mention of this model.

IMO looks superboring, but I'm not a fan of the model.

Not sure if this was intended as a belated April Fools gag, but I would wager it is a fake or redial. For one - the Railmaster font has flaws compared to historical Omega examples.

As someone who adores the Railmaster (to the point of really liking the most recent generation as well!), I hope this is a fake. I don't think this is a good representation of the Railmaster design.

It’s got an open caseback too which kinda defeats the heritage of the railmaster having a faraday cage. It’s literally an AT 38mm but with the railmaster dial.

Check the omega website on the 15th. Don’t blame you for thinking it’s fake because it feels very lazy on omegas part. And at $5800 it makes the Aqua Terra seem very over priced for only having a better dial

I'm skeptical as well, but I don't think we can draw too many conclusions from the font. Omega has not always been consistent. Images below are:

1. Current generation
2. 57 Trilogy
3. OP's photo

Not high enough resolution to be definitive, but the OP's seems to be a good match for the current model

I guess we'll see in 9 days then 😀

It seems like a low-risk release, a dial/hands swap for a AT no-hands movement.

AT also has a date typically. But yeah, another 1200 for a nicer dial and date seems excessive.

Aqua Terra prices are already stupid. Why is the 38mm the same price as the 41 that has a better more complex movement and why is the 38mm more expensive than the diver 300 with the same movement and made with materials that are objectively more expensive to produce than an AT.

Why are ANY of the 3 handers more expensive than a Longines? The materials/manufacturing/etc have little/nothing to do with the prices, its entirely prestige and the market.

Presumably they believe the AT is aiming more at a "guy who wears a suit, so needs 'costly' watch", and the divers as a "weekend watch, so not as premium".
